Land & Lot Clearing/Thinning
Land clearing is done for many reasons, such as building a new house or barn, expanding the existing usable landscape or letting in more sunlight into a shaded area. In Vermont, we take pride in our wooded areas, and sometimes the woods need to be thinned out to minimize overcrowding and prevent tree stress. Selectively logging older growth trees for milling and firewood can allow younger trees within the forest to mature.
